A Jersey Boy’s Story

A Jersey Boy's Story

by James Thomas Walsh

Much of life is lived as a convoluted mystery where clues briefly emerge like dreams in the night and disappear as mist.

In September of 1996 I was struck by a truck while driving my Harley motorcycle. I was near death several times and after thirty-nine surgeries over five years I was able to walk again with one leg five inches shorter.

I began writing this story in 2003 in an attempt at self discovery, to find out who I am and why I am still alive. Though much of the content is a chronology, the events are really the background and material from which I have formed and tested by being and beliefs over my lifetime.

“Ask and it shall be given you, Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you.”-Luke 11:9

The story you are about to read is an autobiography. All the events are real and accurate without exaggeration. The people are real though many of their names have been changed as well as the locations of some events.
